Meet us, Shasta and Jen!
We embarked on this adventure in October 2019. Through some wild convergence of events, we found ourselves envisioning what it could be like to spend more time in the fresh air, closer to Shasta’s family, and with the sacred Yuba river.
As white cis queer women we are dedicated to using our privilege to uplift queers, women, and people of color. Bigotry of any kind is not welcome in our home. We will be using 5% of every rental to donate to Black Lives Matter or another Black led organization.
As part time residents in the Nevada County community, we will also be donating 5% of every stay to the South Yuba River Citizens League.
